Frankly, I don't have time to wax philosophical today. I spent most of the day re-writing the Idol Guidelines, which I'll detail more in that section. I have a TON of stuff to get done this week, including more books to go into the printer, books shipping out when they get here FROM the printer, and a bunch of Distro work to do. So. Since no one seems to want to write the INTRO blurb for the Kick Start, address 1,000's of people, and get their name out there, in the minds of others, as a forward thinker in Self Publishing...I won't waste your time with a long intro. Let's get to the meat of this...

IF YOU have a perspective or opinion about the state of the network, or otherwise want to share your opinions with thousands of people. LET US KNOW. DIMESTORE COMMUNITY

Last week, in the grand tradition of things SPA, I started something on a whim. Here we are one week later, with 60 people already signed up for it. Yes, I'm talking about the Self Publisher Hall of Fame. And it's picking up momentum by the moment. I was contacted by longtime Dimestore friend, and one-time Idol judge - Chris Howard. If you remember him, you know he has been working on Masters degrees and such in History and stuff. Chris is going to be helping to get the HOF organized and into Non-Profit status as fast as we can, and he has friends who specialize in such things for historical-oriented groups. We're going to be seeing a bunch of books shipping in the next week and a half, so if you're waiting for a book that was delayed, we're getting there on the full catch-up. MVA #11 will officially printing - as well as a number of reprints I needed to print more of, to join the books already in production, and other than that...besides everything you see below that is printing RIGHT NOW, we have more MVA issues right out of the gate in 2009 - #12 is now up for pre-order, and Pinnacle is up for pre-order as well!!
