Blast from the past...

Ok, so a lot of people have been asking me: Ian - what are you going to do now that you have moth balled the SPA? Well, I'm not ready to make any firm declarations, but I do want to let people know I am thinking about it. My main plans are to get some creative projects finished and out, plain and simple. In case you did not hear, we made the decision to leave the Self Publisher! Magazine site running, posting new news and reviews. My goal with it is going to be to get that site to a point where it runs without my direct daily involvement. We'll see how it goes.

But right now in the present...I opened a box of old scripts and things recently just to see what was in it, and found the master copy of an old issue of MVA that never saw print. In fact, it was penciled, but never inked...and it has sat for 22 years. Well, I took it, scanned it, did some photoshopping on it, and added some final touches, and it is now available for you to check out as a free PDF download.

I think my next project is going to be to finish up and re-touch the Smiley's Comic series, including adding the never-printed final issue, and releasing it as a GN download. It feels really good to do things that were set aside and forgotten. I'm looking at this as a warm up to getting Dungar back into production on a regular basis.
