Well it comes down to this: It's been a YEAR since the last time I did an official Kickstart Newsletter...and I have spent a year battling a very dark period of trying to just function. I wont go into details. I'll just say the best thing I did all year was tell a number of Doctors to shove it and stopped taking the drugs they insisted that I needed. At this point I am spending more of the time that I can actually stay awake, sitting up and actually trying to work on things. You may have noticed some changes and improvements on the Dimestore set up. Well, I hope you have at least. My absence has left the place, a bit quiet. So I hope to change that.

How? Well, I think the first thing we need to do to really mark a return to activity, is start a complete RE-THEMEING of everything. We have on board now, as a new strategic partner, a hosting company that is specializing in the software system Dimestore has been running on for the past couple years. I've gotten to know Brian Hay, owner of ocPortal Websites, very well over the course of the past 6-8 months as I spent what limited time I had in awake hours, working on the set up and software we're running the site on. Brian has offered his time to help us run a full re-theme project as a community. I would like to see us come up with NEW Logos, new color schemes, better page layouts, easier to use and more intuitive navigation, and everything that goes into making a site LOOK COOL. So, as our first Kick Start in a year, I am kick-starting this project. Let's send this newsletter out, use the power of the SPA to FORWARD IT to anyone you know who you think may be interested in what we're getting going here. Be an ACTIVIST!
