News: Kick Start #306

Well, here we are, just a few days to go in Small Press Idol 2010's Round 3. For those who haven't been keeping up, the standings haven't been rocked too much over the last number of days, but creators are making a final push to get into the top 3. When weighing in the judges' votes, being in the top 3 with fans gives them the best chance of making it into round 4, but it ain't over 'till... well... you know.

Speaking of Creators. Erik Hendrix, winner of Small Press Idol 2009 with his book Faction (artist Arnie Gordon) is launching two new books with his co-brand, Carpet Bomb Comics. Please check out the below and support the launch of these new series by picking up copies through the distro (links below) AND by supporting their KickStarter fund raiser, which they are using to bridge the gap between what they have and what they need to print for San Diego Comic Con this year.

The SPA is proud to announce that Carpet Bomb Comics, run by Erik Hendrix, writer of Faction (Winner of Small Press Idol 2009) is getting ready to release two books in conjunction with the SPA, Faction and The Citizens.

We need your help! We are doing presales on both books, offering special bundles to give you access to products you can't get unless you can make it to San Diego Comic Con this year! With Faction, you can get the issue by itself or bundled with issue 0. For you collectors out there, with The Citizens, we have a regular cover plus a bundle containing the regular and the exclusive variant (limited to 300 copies) AND an ultimate bundle containing the regular and variant cover PLUS an exclusive print of the two covers combined (limited to 50 copies).

Carpet Bomb Comics is looking to make a big splash this year at San Diego Comic Con, but he can't without your help!
