I just got back from my continued job as Official Snow Shoveler 2010. Checking in on the contest to see what projects have gone live. Looks like they plan to spread the entries over the coming days to keep things going at an even pace since we have a while till the final dead line.

So what are the rest of you up to? Any grand schemes taking place?

My team is working on the next round of stuff. If we make it through Round One we want to stay as far ahead of the due dates as possible.

What about you?

Sil is planning out designs for the characters and I am working on a clever way to write the biographies. We are also churning out our Zuda entry. Hoping to have it to them by the end of the week.

I'm patching up a plot hole in my pitch. I really wonder how I didn't see it before. Besides that Wil (the artist) and I are going over what the "dyanmic" covers.

Revising my pitch - again - and directing traffic with the art team.

Looks like the first project got it's judging.


The wait is KILLING me…LOL

Waiting for my artist to get me some character designs so we can get working on the cover.

Pitch is done and I'll probably start on character bios this week.

I'm working on my pitch which is coming out pretty good if I do say so. I have a couple of sketches done for the cover but nothing I like or that really feels right. Most of the character designs have been done for quite some time and the bios are still in my head.

Almost done with round 2 stuff. Trying to keep ahead as much as we can if we get through round 1.  It's a good thing I'm working with an awesome team!

I just finished my Round #4 material, and getting ready for publishing! Come on guys, it takes so long and I get bored easely!!!

My synopsis is finished and I finally have a good idea for my cover. Now I have to make sure it comes out like I want it to.

Cover is done and submission is sent. Now all I gotta do is wait and cross my fingers...

This is really exciting. Every day the entries get better and better. I'm a little scared that my entry will break the awesome streak everyone's having.

Honestly, I've entered in my pitch and cover and I'm currently considering another entry. Not sure yet though.

Considering scrapping what you submitted and sending in something else? If that's the case, you should let Ian know ASAP.

If you're considering a second entry in the contest, it's just one entry per person/team.

I thought it said somewhere, that the entry fee was $25 per Project–which gives me the impression that you can enter in more than one…keeping in mind that every Project has it's fee each. If the rule is that we can only do one project, then nevermind  


…and no, I'm not scrapping the project that I have currently entered in. I have a feeling about this one–just waiting to take in all the crits & commentary from the judges about it

I'm pretty sure theres something in there saying one entry per year, with stipulation that if you're voted out, you can join another person's team if you can talk your way on it, with the approval of the Idol panel.
