Good Afternoon Small Press Idol Fans,

I felt it necessary to write this because I was so involved in this contest and our project: Soul Bound. Unfortunately it doesn't look like were going to get our project in on time. After round 2, Drew (our artist) had an allergic reaction to some energy pills he was taking, and has been very sick. Though he was still trying to finish the project he was unable to work on it for long periods of time. I will most likely be sending what we have into Ian, but won't be supprised if its not posted because of where it's at. However, i will come back and post it here after the deadline for the round just to give you guys an idea of what we had going. I really appreciate all the support we recieved, and I felt like we really had a chance to be some top contenders in this competition. I wish you all the best, and Im sure you will see us around, either next year, or perhaps if we break into the industry some other way. To Ian, we will do everything we can to get you your 12 pages, and if you want im more than happy to talk to you about it over email or the phone, hopefully Drew is feeling better soon. Thanks again for all the support!

Sorry to hear about that, Alan. Soul Bound was one of the projects I was looking forward to seeing. But your still going to post so that's a plus. I hope Drew is feeling better and I wish u all the luck moving forward. It's a great book so stay at it and dont let the bumps in the road hold u back.

WHAT?!? That seriously sucks guys! I hope Drew is getting better. I'm sure whatever you have will kick butt anyway. I was seriously gearing up for a Soulbound showdown this round. You guys should be proud that you got this far and with such quality work. Best of luck.

Hopefully you'll continue with Soul Bound. One of the great things about SPI is that your 12 pages can still get your comic good exposure through the anthologies.

Well looks like he still let us post it! We are working very hard to get those pages finished and find an inker for Drew so his work load is cut in half. If anyone knows anyone interested let us know! Drew is currently starting to feel better and has THANKFULLY stopped taking those energy pills! Thanks for all the kind words guys!
