SHIPPING GUIDELINES

The shipping of your comic is really in your hands. You need to tell us how many copies need to go where, and any other special requests involved in it. You will be charged for the exact shipping charges, no more no less, no hidden packaging charges. Here's a base guide to estimate your shipping charge:

Full size comic: $60.00 per 1000 copies to be printed, AND $35 per location sent to = _____________(Shipping cost)
Larger Page count/ Perfect bound books: $18.00 per 100 copies, AND $10 per location =________________(Shipping)
Short run publications: $10 per 100 copies, AND $10 per location =_________________(Shipping)

These figures are for all REGULAR situations. However, if your printing needs have run into a situation that requires special delivery of any sort...please ask us for those estimates ASAP: if fixing something has put you in a position of needing overnight shipping, etc, those extra charges will be asked for up front at time of need if at all possible. We have been burned by publishers in the past by covering rush shipping up front and expecting a publisher to pay on the invoice for actual shipping, so e avoid rush shipping like the plague.

Dimestore will hold and keep copies of your publications on consignment upon request, and available to retailers and individuals, take with us to shows. Dimestore runs a "distro", and you need to see the Distro Site for guidelines and understanding of how the Distro works, how you can set up publications with us, and even set up re-order periods so the sales pay for your printing.

When you place your order with us, we need all the shipping decisions done and sent to us in an e-mail so we can set up the shipping. You can also mail that info in if you are sending in a CD with your files on it, etc. Shipping ESTIMATE due at time of order, actual shipping +/- from that estimate will be applied to your account for settlement after the order is complete. Distro sales shipping is NOT CHARGED to the publisher, it is paid for in the orders, and thus copies that come to Dimestore are ALWAYS FREE SHIPPING. One copy of every order, no matter what, always gets sent to Dimestore for listing purposes.
